The Mustang Project is an all volunteer organization, and cares for over 20 mustangs, many of them removed from the Sheldon National Wildlife Refuge. Property
Currently we are in search of property in the greater Chico, CA area to provide sanctuary for the Sheldon horses, and to give us the opportunity to expand the program, including an indoor area for teaching during the winter and to be used as a visitor's center. Ideal property would be a minimum of 80-100 acres, fenced, and have easy road access for the public and for deliveries. A dwelling / mobile home, or hookups are highly desired. Donation of land would be greatly appreciated, or would consider a lease-purchase or purchase on the right property.
